Staff of Natsteel arranged for residents of St Joseph Nursing home to visit their plant in Tanjong Kling for a two hour activity. It is their CSR project and we were contacted to facilitate a batik painting activity. We discovered that this simple activity of batik painting a pre-waxed cloth is an ideal activity for the aged. The helpful staff of this large steel mill paired up with an elderly guest to assist them complete a colorful batik piece that they took back with a great sense of accomplishment.
