Biography

Sukri Kadola is an accomplished artisanal craftsman and floral designer whose work celebrates the harmony between nature, design, and human connection. As the founder of Bloem Singapore in 2013, Sukri has been creating bespoke floral arrangements and handcrafted pieces for hotels, recreational and country clubs, restaurants, and clients such as The Malayan Council.

In 2019, Sukri was recognised as a finalist for the “Artisan of the Year Award” by the Rotary Club of Singapore, highlighting his exceptional artistry, craftsmanship, and contribution to the community. The accolade reflected a career rooted in passion, innovation, and a dedication to elevating floral design as an expressive art form.

Beyond entrepreneurship, Sukri has been deeply committed to empowering the community, particularly foreign domestic workers, through his partnership with the Foreign Workers Assistance Society (FAST). He has taught life and artisanal skills to help them explore opportunities in floristry and creative careers, providing both personal growth and new pathways for employment.

In recent years, Sukri has also partnered with Kebun Dapur to lead workshops such as “The Language of Flowers”, to inspire hobbyists, naturists and food enthusiasts to explore kampong flowers and their connection to Malay traditional food and desserts, blending floral artistry with culinary heritage and poetry.

Today, through Bloem Singapore and ongoing artistic collaborations, Sukri Kadola continues to shape Singapore’s floral and craft landscape. His work reflects an enduring belief that craftsmanship, sustainability, and nature’s beauty can inspire meaningful connections between people and their surroundings.
