Singapore Children Society at Jurong Youth Centre gets a new look

Our first gig for 2011 starts off with a graffiti workshop at the Jurong Youth Centre. The main stars for this project was a joint effort by volunteers of OCBC Bank and the kids from the Jurong Youth Centre. OCBC is a partner for the Singapore Children Society and this year the committee led by  Mr Desmond Lim of OCBC Group O & T Division, decided to give a new facade to the centre.
For us, we were engaged  to guide the participants for the workshop. More than 70 participants took part in this project, all of them had no knowledge of graffiti.
Below are some of the images of the actual wall before we ‘bomb’ it.

They contacted us sometime in September 2010 and the team went down for a site visit. We met the committee from OCBC and staffs of Jurong Youth Centre. It was initially planned for December 2010 but due to conflicting schedules, we had it in January 2011.

They were a lot happening on that day and more, so take your time to view the images. Click on them to see what we did. Two of our artist Slacsatu and Azhar contributed an artwork for Jurong Youth Centre and OCBC.
