Flora and fauna being the common theme in batik painting, we were invited by the Singapore Orchid Society to set up a batik demonstration booth where public can purchase pre-waxed batik templates to colour on the spot. It proved to be a very popular activity surrounded by an impressive exhibition of orchids and other plants.
