Daily drawings

Selected pieces from my daily drawings. I do these pieces at one sitting with no preparation, planning or corrections. This method is known as automatic drawing which is one of the key methods of art making in Surrealism.
These drawings become little motifs that will possibly be utilised in my works of art. I am interested to know what you think of these? Do leave your comments.

  2. Thank you for your comments. Glad you liked what we do. I usually do my drawings at home as I work with chinese ink on rice paper.

  3. Very fresh expression, Kamal! I see where nature provokes some of your flowing ideas! I sometimes do the same,…with my eyes shut, to allow no conscious interuptions! ha!
The ink line is so pleasing to the eye in it’s simplicity and it’s shape-suggesting line value. I love pen and ink and know you must also! It shows in your enjoyment of it all,…as you flip the pages of your creations and re-live the music and the emotions you felt upon creating them! Memories can be buried neatly inside the lines!
Let’s see more! Never leave the house without your sketch pad! ha ha!!~~~~Marvelous!~~~Thank you!~~John
