Traditional Batik Painting workshop conducted for the students of Ahmad Ibrahim Primary School. The workshop is to be part of their Art Enrichment Programme. The students find it interesting and such a joy to learn about the history and culture of traditional batik painting, while having the opportunity to create batik works of their own.

We conducted a workshop for a group of ladies interested in learning batik painting. The participants were exposed to the history and culture of traditional batik painting and were fully immersed in the creation of their own batik pieces. The creation techniques include drawing the design using hot wax and painting using batik dyes.
More than 70 staffs and teachers from Assumption Pathway School took part in this team building workshop. Chevron Executives was here in Singapore for a conference and found time to take part in the Batik session conducted by us before they fly home. The 4 hours workshop consist of making a Batik painting and taking part in doing the community Batik.
We conducted a 6 sessions of Batik workshop at St Stephen School for the Primary 4 boys. This is the 2nd time we conducted Batik workshop at their school and have always been a good experience with these boys.
