Corporate Cultural Activity for SMU

Undergrads and faculty members attended a corporate cultural activity for bonding with colleagues during this phase of working-from-home. Batik painting kits were delivered prior to the workshop and we had a wonderful sharing the beauty of batik and how to appreciate them, also guiding them to complete a batik painting from our gallery full of batik art.

Community Batik

We were invited by Joo Chiat residents to do community batik. It’s their 60th anniversary and it’s heartwarming to see residents young and old happily engaged in making a collective work of community art.

Batik Workshop for Visiting students

Taiwanese students came for batik-painting workshop at the studio. Word must be going around (the world) to visit a local artist studio. Good to include in your Singapore learning journey.

Art Camp for Bishan Park Secondary School

Learning journey and Art camp for our students from Bishan Park Secondary School for 3 days. It was a whole 3 days intensive batik workshop for them and here are the team working on their group work on a 1m x 1m cloth. What a great team building!

Batik painting workshop

Team from MOE HQ was here for their teambuilding workshop recently and they really enjoy it. It is first time for most of them and they are glad to walk away with a beautiful painting each.

Mini Batik Painting

Our cute little students from Sengkang Green Primary school painting our popular mini batik pre-waxed programme. This programme is suitable for younger students 9 years old and below as it involves NO Hot Waxing. Safe and beautiful artwork for the little ones.

Girl Guides camp

Serangoon Secondary School had their Girl Guides team to learn the art of batik painting.The girls did quite well for a first timer. Well done girls!
