We were invited by Joo Chiat residents to do community batik. It’s their 60th anniversary and it’s heartwarming to see residents young and old happily engaged in making a collective work of community art.
We were visited by a class of kindergarteners who were making their way round Goodman Arts Centre as part of their school trip. The children were introduced to our daily practices which include traditional batik painting and graffiti.
Conducted a cartoon characters creation workshop for the children at Canossian School. The workshop, one of our art enrichment programmes, encourages children to use their imagination as they are inventing their own cartoon characters, while being introduced to the basics of cartoon drawing.

Traditional Batik Painting workshop conducted for the students of Ahmad Ibrahim Primary School. The workshop is to be part of their Art Enrichment Programme. The students find it interesting and such a joy to learn about the history and culture of traditional batik painting, while having the opportunity to create batik works of their own.
