Anderson Secondary School invited us for their school art event which they organize every year. This is a day to let the students enjoy and be themselves after completing their exams. This time around the school engage us to conduct a batik painting workshop again. Unlike earlier this year where it was classroom based, we conducted the workshop outdoors.
The Community Batik Painting workshop is an easier way for the students to understand what is batik and how it is made. After the introduction, students were shown the tools and materials on batik making.
Participation from the students were well-received as it helps in producing a very good artwork for the school.
